Augusto's Peruvian Austin

Austin at 5 Yrs 3 months with nearly 6 months of fleece growth.

Click on above pictures to see enlarged version.

Summary:

For those of you who are Augusto fans, meet his offspring, Austin.  Augusto (named Kansas in Peru), is no longer available for outside breedings.  He was the world's highest selling Huacaya male in 2000 at $226,000 for his predictable genetic improvement of his offspring.  Don Julio Berreda wrote in 2005, "I am positive that whoever buys Kansas will be satisfied." Austin is an ideal cross between Augusto and Matador (True Black).  He is a handsome large frame male, weighing in around 210 pounds.  He yields abundant fleece as you can see from his pictures, that is also dense, with a super bold crimp, which exhibits shine.  Austin was not shown by his farm of origin due to a broken toe.  He possesses the characteristic Accoyo head with a very prominant top knot. His lovely personality rounds off this package!

Linebacker's Bandito

Bandito at 2 Yrs 2 months of age showing approximately 6 months of fleece growth.

Click on the pictures below to see them larger.

Summary:

Bandito is an up-and-coming junior herdsire at this point.  His sire is Linebacker, who is a Hemingway grandson from both his paternal and maternal line.  His dam is Honeysuckle, a Best Ala Best daughter which makes her a Caligula granddaughter!  With Bandito you get 2 X Hemingway and Caligula together.  Notable names in his background other than previously listed: Snowmass Cchatanca and Charmingway (dam of Snowmass Millenium)!!  Bandito was a healthy cria who had an IgG of 2452.  Now he is a robust male who currently weighs around 190 pounds.  He has excellent confirmation, with very soft fleece, whereas his crimp exhibits a medium to high freqency with low amplitude.  Bandito has never been shown, because whilst fighting, he had all of his front teeth knocked out entirely at about 6 months of age.  He is a sporty looking fellow, and his face will simply steal your heart!
